Blood Pressure(BP) is the pressure of moving blood on the walls of the vessels. It is the pressure which is there the in large arteries of the body.

Types of Blood Pressure
There are two kinds of blood pressure. One is high blood pressure and other is low pressure. If it fluctuates from the recommended reading then it is taken as the abnormal pressure of blood in the vessels.

We come across a lot of controversies when it comes to the accurate reading of B.P. Even though the universally accepted reading of b.p is  120/80 mm Hg. It remained undisputed for many many years. But in the recent past, it has been revisited and many new reflections have been given in this regard.


Previously the normal reading of blood pressure was supposed to be 120/90 and many many years we did not find any controversy among the medical practitioner on this issue. But in recent years we come to a lot of debate on the reading of blood pressure. American Heart Association has changed the threshold reading from 140/90 to 120/80 due to the ever-increasing risk of cardiac diseases. Still, 
we find out many voices echoing against this reading.


Controversy in blood pressure reading

A lot of famous naturopaths are there who think that the reading that has been decreased from the earlier level is based on mala fide intention to give the boost to the sale of manufacturing companies which have built the empires due to plundering the people by selling the fear of high b.p to them. Most of the members of the so-called heart associations revise the reading of blood pressure are those who are directly or indirectly shareholders of these companies who are piling up their wealth by selling the fear of high b.p. According to Dr.Biswaroop Chaudhary as long as your b.p reading does not disturb you its reading does not matter. So your body signals are the best communicator of the blood pressure. Though the high blood pressure is assumed to be a silent killer this is also a hypothesis that is being sold into the market as a fact. In reality, high blood pressure has got many significant symptoms that let you know that there is something wrong in your body that needs to be addressed on a priority basis. 

Treatment and Cure of Blood Pressure


  • There are a lot of treatments that are available for high as well as low blood pressure. But as low blood pressure is not as dangerous as high blood pressure is, so most people tend to go to doctor or naturopath for high blood pressure.
  • Allopathic treatment of high blood pressure.
  • .Diuretic. There are also called water pills which expel out the excessive amount of water and sodium from your body. That brings down the amount of a fluid moving in bloodstreams resulting in the normalization of blood pressure. If it doesn't work then other treatments are recommended.
  • An angioplasty-converting enzyme(ACE). These help the blood vessels to relax by stopping the formation of a hormone called angiotensin
  • Angiotensin II receptor blocker(ARBs). These also sooth bloodstreams by stopping not the making of angiotensin.
  • Calcium channel blockers. These stop the entry of Calcium in the heart arteries. Therefore these also relax the blood vessel's cells.
  • Beta-blocker. These are also known as beta-adrenergic agents. These block the effects of a hormone called epinephrine also known as adrenaline. These forces the heart to beat slow with less force.
  • Renie-inhibitors.Rennin is an enzyme that is produced by your Kidneys that commences a chain of reaction in your body that escalates your blood pressure.

  1. Garlic. The active ingredient allicin makes the garlic one of the best natural remedies for high blood or two cloves daily of it daily with your normal meal drastically bring down your high blood pressure. If you do not have the acidity problem then taking the cloves of garlic in an empty stomach will do wonders with your high blood pressure. It will simultaneously decrease your high cholesterol as well.
  2. Cinnamon. It is another magical natural remedy. If you take half teaspoon of it early in the morning before breakfast then it will not only decrease your blood pressure but cholesterol as well.
  3. Banana. Banana is full of potassium. Potassium has the natural power to bring down your blood pressure. So if you find blood pressure shoot up, take two medium-size bananas and eat them. This will also bring down your blood pressure.
